LATE Chapter 119

Sookie felt warm, she thought, as she stretched her arms and slowly opened her eyes, expecting to be in her bed with Bjorn sitting off to her left. To her surprise she was standing alone in front of a huge – maybe 10 feet tall – mirror in an ornate gold frame wearing the most beautiful dress she had ever seen! She ran her hands over her upper arms, hugging herself, trying to figure out where she was, fascinated by her own reflection as she ran her hands over the beautiful gown.

“Wow, I hope I get to keep this dress,” she said out loud as the sound of footsteps approaching rang in a hallway behind her. Why wasn’t she scared? She wondered, ‘what color is this dress!?’ It was like a living watercolor catching the light in places that would seem to be a delicate blue at one moment while another part took on a lavender hue, then it would seem pink, then lavender and blue again. She was mesmerized as she played with the front of the skirt, the translucent colors continuing to change. She wished she could twirl but it had a long train in back, in intricate lace embroidered with beautiful shimmering flowers. “If this is a dream,” she whispered as she swayed a bit in front of the mirror “I‘d like to stay here a while.”

She noticed now that the buzz of a crowd outside was somewhere nearby and she heard trumpeting like you’d hear in a movie about Queens and knights and “Dragons!” she said aloud as she noticed Puff watching her from a purple rug by a huge bed with a pink canopy. He raised his head and purred at her, hoping the Goddess would call him to Her.

“Hey, Puff!” she smiled, “I’m glad you’re here, too!” she petted his head and scratched him behind his ears as he pranced over to her, nuzzling at her tummy covered with lace. “Ok, sweet boy, I’m guessing we’re in Avalon or Elfyria, and this dress Is for my coronation? I hope no one steps on this train!”

There was a knock on the door and she heard a familiar voice calling “Milady, are you in the dress?”

”Yes, Sir Robert, I’m dressed.” She laughed as he came through the door.

He stopped for a minute when he saw her, stunned at her beauty as her aura swirled around her in beautiful ribbons of pink and yellow. “my Goddess, no one will doubt you are Queen when they see you in this!” he said, as he came in carrying a wooden chest about the size of a small toaster oven. “Your jewels, My Lady.”

“Oh, I can’t wait to see what I’ve got!” She laughed and bounced a bit, having decided it might be nice to be Queen.

He opened a drawer that held glass slippers!

Her eyes were big and bright. “Are those…?”

Sir Robert laughed, “The very ones! Only 2 previous owners – one Princess and one Queen!” he knelt down on one knee, gently helping her into each slipper, neither of them noticing Eric standing at the door.

“Ahem,” Eric cleared his throat, surprised to see a Faerie man kneeling in front of his wife. He wasn’t jealous – not much, anyway – he  just wanted them to know he was there. He forgot all about it when he saw Sookie dressed like an Angel.

“Eric! Look, Glass slippers!

“Lovely, Sookie – you are a vision!” He thought by now he should be used to seeing Sookie in full Freyja form, but Her beauty and power still shocked him. She was certainly the Faerie Queen if ever there was one!

“Your Majesty!” Robert addressed him, “would you like to place the Jewels?”

“Yes,” He smiled “Though they’ll hardly be noticed next to Sookie’s beauty.”

“Aw, thank you!” she said with the most brilliant smile. “How’s the weather outside?”

“It’s a glorious day!” Sir Robert answered.

“Perfect for a Coronation, My Angel, the entire Fae Realm will be in love with you after today!” Eric agreed.

“Most of them, anyway,” she said softly, though she refused to let thoughts of Niall ruin her happy mood.

Eric gently placed the freshly polished enchanted aquamarine around her neck, the heavy gold chain gleaming like a star. There was a matching pair of Aqua earrings in each earlobe and a small tiara crown on her head that would soon be replaced by something much more impressive.

”Where are the children?” she suddenly remembered to ask, berating herself for being a distracted Mom.

“Perfectly safe in the nursery, with Jerry, Bjorn and Bobbie? I think?” Robert was pretty sure those were the names of the Queens’s retinue. “along with guards that I trust implicitly.”

“OK, where will they be while I do whatever I’m doing?” They both looked at Robert.

“Right on the stage with you, My Lady, they’ll get to see you crowned.”

“Too bad they’re probably too young to remember it,” Sookie said wistfully.

“There will be film and pictures, your Majesty, though I’m confident they’ll be aware of the honor you’ll receive. Plus, there’ll be the announcement about the Princess, which only a few know about. It will be a special thrill for everyone.”

“Are we sure that’s a good idea?” She looked at them both, wanting some reassurance.

“The Council & the Witte Wieven have decided it’s best, sort of lagniappe as they say in New Orleans, I believe?” Everyone laughed and Sookie shook her head a little, getting herself into the right frame of mind for this.

“All right, Sookie,”  Eric nodded to Robert, “it’s time for the children and me to take our places.” He gave her a long, sweet kiss, winked at her and followed the guard that would guide them to their place in front of the palace.

“OK,” she said mostly to herself, l’ll see you soon!”

When Eric left, Sir Robert asked, “do you need a minute to compose yourself, My Lady?”

“Yes, if you don’t mind.” She said as the attendants and Maddy came in and stood by the door.

Everyone stepped out into the hall as Sookie took a deep breath and looked intensely into the mirror making the adjustments she wanted.

“OK,” she said to herself, “you can do this!” She gave herself one more look – hair long and full, flowing down past her shoulders. Eyes rimmed black like a cat, touches of real gold on her lids and lips, porcelain skin, rosy cheeks and full sexy pout. She liked the way the dress fit her every curve and everything was fine. She opened the door where Maddy was waiting with two little Faerie girls in matching pink dresses with those “over-all” button shoulders that she’d seen before.

“Ready, Milady?” Maddy smiled at her proudly.

“Yes, I am.” Sookie said confidently as the girls both lifted the train of her dress and they all proceeded to the corridor, Puff following beside Sookie like a good protector should.

As she followed the little group she noticed this was an unusual hallway facing the one Titania’s room was in.

“Maddy? Why was I getting dressed in the wrong room?”

“Oh that was a child’s room before, Milady. We’ll keep it just as it is to use as you’d like but as Queen you’ll be in the Royal suite of rooms. You and your King have already got wardrobes and anything you might need in place and ready for you. Everything in it is fresh and new, except for the heirlooms, the enchanted and museum pieces.”

“Great!” ‘More things to learn’ she thought to herself.

“You’ll have lots of fun exploring what all’s there, I’m sure!” Maddy said, knowing things were moving very quickly around this new Royal family.

They continued down the corridor where the line of suits of armor stood, then out to the great room where the throne sat. The huge room was buzzing with cooks and maids, waiters and waitresses setting up for the banquet after the ceremony. As Sookie’s escort moved through the back of grand room every worker turned and bowed or curtsied to her. On the other side was a hallway and the door to the library where she’d met with three of the Witte Wieven, or white ladies, or whatever. They turned to the right down a new hall that led to the outside of the palace where colorful silk banners formed a barrier so people could reach the front gardens without being seen. There were soldiers and wait staff running around in the tunnel making preparations. They stopped just inside the end of the tunnel and waited. Trumpets rang out, obviously announcing something important as people wearing robes and regalia of all kinds gathered in front of them.

*Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the official Coronation of the new H’Eloise Queen!* said a voice over a loudspeaker, which Sookie giggled at because it was so unexpected to find anything electric here. She was tickled to find an open seam where she could peek through and see the stage. Sookie remembered seeing crowds of this size in demonstrations at the Washington Monument. She guessed attendance was about a thousand people.

*Please welcome the governing body of Elfyria, our blessed Witte Wieven and their honored guests!* A group of women in embroidered silk blue and purple robes walked in a slow precession up the steps on the front of the palace.

“Hey! Octavia is one of them! And there’s Amelia!” Sookie said to no one in particular, delighted to see some friends out there. ‘Why is Octavia wearing a robe, but Amelia is in a regular dress?’ she wondered silently, knowing there would be a reason.

*Please welcome the Royal Consort, His Royal Highness Eric Northman.* (Girls screamed with delight, most applauded, a few were shocked to see a Vampire here.)

*The Royal progeny, Eric Alexander* (Great applause followed.}

 *Prince Eric Auberon H’Eloise!* (wild applause and chanting of “Hail to the Prince”.}

*and In her first public appearance, Princess Sunna H’Eloise!* (the crowd went wild and cameras were clicking and flashing everywhere, which also surprised Sookie.)

From her spot in line, Sookie could see Eric holding the tiny baby in a tiny pink dress with the funny buttons. ‘Where did that come from?’ She laughed as she saw the boys buckled into little wooden chairs that put them at equal height to the adults next to Eric, the boys’ heads at his shoulder, then Bobbie and Bjorn beside them. The boys were wearing blue and purple in the same shades as the Wise Women, and Bobbie put a few Cheerios on each boy’s little tray, which they both enjoyed. Alex was looking at everything with wide blue eyes, and he seemed to be talking to Eric a lot. Eric was smiling proudly at him and answering his questions when he could. As always, he was very patient with the kids. Little Sunny was cuddled under his chin, drooling a bit on a nappy. Sookie finally noticed Eric was dressed in a white poet shirt with gold embroidery, black breeches with gold embroidery down the side and a pair of black boots she hoped he’d bring home with him. ‘Yum’ she laughed to herself.

*Please welcome honored members of the Global Council!* (Each of whom appeared and was seated as they arrived. The crowd applauded for them all.)

 *Priestess Penelope of Rome*

*The Ancient Pythoness*

 *Hypatia of Alexandria*

*Lady Sybil Leek*

(One by one they appeared in front of Sookie’s escort and mounted the steps to their seats to the right, which faced the crowd.)

*Taliesin of Camelot*

*The Lady Diana of Bath*

*The Goddess Bastet of The Nile Valley*

*Rhiannon of Swansea*

*Our Lady Queen Helen of Troy*

*King Menelaus*

*Agamemnon and

*Niall Brigant?!*

Everyone drew breath at once. Everyone was frozen. Not knowing what to do, the announcer continued:

*Now taking the stage, honored Priestesses of Avalon.* (13 women in front of the group filed out to the stage, turning to the left and being seated behind Eric, the children and the Witte Wieven.

Everyone in front of Sookie moved forward and she followed. The little girls with her train popped their wings so they floated behind her and let her set the pace.

*Please welcome Our hostess for this ritual, the legendary Lady of the Lake, High Priestess Nivian.*

There on the front step, facing Sookie as she walked the red carpeted path to the palace alone, Nivian appeared with a big Whoosh! of air that fanned her hair like flames. Puff took that as his cue to run ahead and settle in front of the babies, because everyone was looking at the Goddess.

Everyone was seated now, Niall right in front where Sookie would be crowned, facing him and to his right. Bjorn was at the opposite position to Niall, ready to fight if need be, Jerry first in the next row right behind him. Amazons took the entire front row on the ground, swords in right hands, shields in left hands, all on one knee ready to spring forward and fight. Faerie soldiers surrounded the crowd as 1,000 Faeries held their breath.

Nivian stood at least 7 foot tall and silent in a white lace dress, legs apart, both hands on Excalibur, the tip of which was touching the step. As she faced the crowd, she spoke loudly and clearly:

“I call thee forth, Sookie H’Eloise Northman, in front of the Goddesses and gods that move here among us, step forth and claim your throne.”

Sookie fixed her eyes on Nivian’s, which flashed brilliant green like emeralds, and she walked slowly and ceremoniously toward the steps. When she reached Nivian, she instinctively went to her knees. Her little attendants moved to the side as she knelt. Something shimmered and at once Freyja was standing behind her as the crowd all “oohed” together. Freyja looked at Eric and said “Sunna,” who was instantly flying in front of Freyja, her pink and yellow wings on full display to everyone’s delight. Sunna flew forward, coming down to Sookie and landing in her arms, folding her wings and facing Nivian, too.

Nivian raised Excalibur to the sky in both hands, a brilliant white flash of energy or power or something like lightning flowed directly into the sword. She lowered the sword, tapping Sookie on her left shoulder 3 times, her right shoulder 3 times, and back to the left for a final 3 taps.

Freyja removed the small tiara that Sookie was wearing, gently smoothing her hair. Sunna flew upward to Freyja’s arms. The Ancient Pythoness stepped forward with an aqua blue satin pillow that held the True Crown of Elfyria, which sparkled with 333 diamonds all reflecting light visible to the entire crowd.

Sookie was visibly trembling, not with fear but with a power she never even imagined. Nivian held out the sword so Sookie could take it. Sookie held it forward and it glowed with an unearthly light rarely seen even in Elfyria. Nivian placed the beautiful crown on Sookie’s head, setting it straight and firm as the light that was Sookie enrobed Sunna, Sookie and Freyja in a glorious display of fireworks that reached up out to the stars. The crowd was breathless again as the light exploded then gently swirled down like snow flakes and sparks, around the 3 finally as 1, and settled in Sookie’s head and heart and hands, flowing gracefully into the ground all around her.

Nivian spoke loudly “Arise, Sookie H’Eloise Northman, and claim your rightful throne as Queen of all lands of Faerie!”

Sookie stood and began to glow again, a gentle pink whirlwind that suddenly wrapped around Niall like a lasso and he was gone! A few people shrieked, one or two fainted, others stared at the empty seat with their mouths open. What next?

Freyja’s throne appeared behind Nivian, who took back Excalibur and stepped to the right where Niall had been. Sookie turned to the crowd, sitting in the throne, and everyone cried and cheered all at the same time.

When the crowd was still standing, but quieting a bit, Sookie stood up, the new Crown lighting up everyone and everything there, and she spoke.

“Hear me, Goddesses, gods and honored guests, family and friends. Niall Brigant still lives. I sent him away because he has no power over me, or anyone here, and never will again. I won’t begin my reign by killing him – that’s not who I am. Let this mark a new era of love and generosity and prosperity for everyone here, together!”

People cheered again, and Freyja held Sunna up to the sky, turning in a circle saying “Welcome this Winged one as you have welcomed Me.”  As the crowd went wild again, Freyja kissed the baby on the lips and put her gently in Sookie’s arms. “Love her as you love yourself Sookie, the 3 of Us are 1.”

Freyja kissed Sookie’s lips, stepped back and was gone.

The Crier called out:

*Ladies and gentleman, brunch is served.”

The crowd cheered and began to disperse, some moving into the castle, heading for the banquet in the great room, others finding pretty spots to throw down a quilt and picnic. They were all having fun, stretched out over castle grounds as far as the eye could see, tables and wagons of food setting all around them. There were games for children and a few for adults, and pets of all kinds joined the fun.

Sookie stood up and the throne was gone. Eric stepped forward, kissing her lips and taking Sunny from her because people were swarming around her offering blessings and congratulations.

Eric had arranged for Sir Robert, Jerry and Amelia to help Auberon while Bjorn and Bobbie took Alex. Eric held the baby to his left, keeping his right hand on Sookie’s back as she gently ushered the crowd on the steps into the palace. Everyone wanted to touch her, which was a little scary but Eric’s touch comforted her so she reminded herself to relax and go slowly and they all made it in to the table saved for them in a few minutes.

The great room was awash in good feelings and delicious foods, and Sookie was still tingling and bouncing in her seat at the center of the farthest table in front of the throne. Eric and the family stretched out to her right, Nivian and the Avalon group to her left. The Witte Wieven and some other Witches filled a table to the right of the room, members of the Council and their retinue to the left.

Sookie was happy and warm and felt love all around her. She looked around the room with great satisfaction, delighted to see familiar faces in the crowd.

“Eric look to the left!” she whispered nodding toward the Council’s table where Angelina and her movie star lifted a glass in their honor. Sookie returned the gesture, so pleased to see them and some others she remembered from Avalon.

Eric was happy but very aware that he and Alex were the only Vampires in the room, again. He didn’t say anything to Sookie, but she picked up his thought and smiled at him.

“Eric, don’t be afraid, I can protect us here,” she sent looking into his eyes and squeezing his hand.

He didn’t doubt her confidence but was still very aware of his surroundings.

”Sookie, are you sure?” Eric asked aloud.

“Yes, maybe not at home yet, but here, I’m very sure. Something changed when I was crowned.”

“It looked very intense where we were sitting.”

“I’ve got a lot to tell you! I can’t wait until we get home,” she smiled and sent the most wonderful sense of love and protection over the whole family side of the table.

Sir Robert was aware of it and he nodded and smiled as he and Amelia fussed over Aubie, who was having a great time crawling on the table and eating bits of fruits and berries and petting Puff when he reached up to the table. Sookie saw Amelia and Jerry at the end of the table, but Octavia was at the Witte Wieven table. Interesting.

Alex was aware of Eric’s hesitance, too, as he sat between Bjorn and Eric eating a bowl of tender beef and potatoes with his fingers, feeding some to his kitty now and then. “Dadee, Mamee bid majig!”

Eric laughed out loud. “How big, Alex?”

“Bid won wyd da Moon!” Alex said pointing up to a sort of skylight.

Sookie laughed, asking Eric “Is he talking about the moon?”

“Yes, he told me it’s always there but you can only see it in the dark.”

Sookie laughed, “how would he know about that?”

“I have no idea but he also told me Venus is the planet of love.”

“He knows planets?”

“He knows one planet, or has he says “bwan-ed.””

Sookie cracked up at Eric imitating Alex’s pronunciation. She was trying to remember if Eric had ever done that before, and she thought that was new for him and it was a good thing.

“Dadee, Ma-mee isth gween!”

Eric tried to repeat what Alex said “Mommy is green?”

“Nah dween, Dadee, Gween!”

Eric laughed, “Yes, Mommy is Queen now.”

“Faywees ah ap-pee!”

“Yes,” Eric laughed, “the Faeries are happy.”

“Daygid om?” Alex pointed to his head, then at Sookie, who was still wearing the crown.

“No, Alex, the crown will stay here when Mommy comes home.”

“Oday. Daygid om Sthumdee?”

Sookie cracked up, hearing what he said but knowing Eric didn’t understand it, “Yes, Alex, we’re taking Sunny home!”

“Oday, an Obee?”

“Yes, Aubie, too!”

“Oday. Dayt!” Alex held his bowl forward to Eric to show him “Ah gahn! Dayt!”

“Sookie what is “dayt?”” Eric laughed.

“Dayt? Oh, CAKE!” she laughed, “he’s showing you he finished his dinner and now he wants cake!”

Before Sookie could say anything else, one of the little servers who had been watching them closely brought chocolate cake with whipped cream and sprinkles for Alex and Aubie.

“Thank you,” Sookie said, thrilling the little girl who would talk for weeks that the Queen had smiled and thanked her.

Alex was looking at the cake but not eating yet. “Dadee, wadiz dat?”

“Sookie?” Eric deferred to her on food.

“Mamee, wadiz dat dween an peek an wed?”

“Those are sprinkles, Alex, you can eat them!”

“Ee-dem?”

“Yep, watch,” she told him and scooped a bit of whipped cream and sprinkles with her own fork and ate them.

“Oday,” Alex said and he patted Bjorn’s arm to feed him, which he was happy to do.

“Dadee, ah wyg spweeco.”

Most on the family side of the table laughed at Alex trying to say “sprinkles” which was too darn cute.

Sir Robert felt the time was right so he stood up and clinked his wine glass with a spoon. Others followed and a few called out “speech!” As everyone turned their attention to him, Robert proposed “a toast!”

“To our beautiful, merciful Queen Sookie – Welcome Home!”

People whistled and applauded and approved enthusiastically.

Sookie had never seen such a banquet! It was even more impressive than the one in Avalon. There were three animals turning on a spit in the middle of the room! Wine was flowing freely and no one was feeling any pain. The little servers buzzed around Sookie and the rest of the family – no glass sat empty and there were platters of meat, poultry and gorgeous bright vegetables and fruit.

Eric was beside himself watching Sookie. She was beaming as he had never seen before. Their bond was singing with joy and strength and contentment. He had never loved her more.

The room was finishing desserts and coffee, many people wandering out and heading home. By almost 5:30, most of the dignitaries had departed.

“Your majesty?” Robert addressed Sookie directly, “Your official obligations are complete. Stay as long as you wish, but you can go home at any time now. It has been a splendid day!” Robert was honored by the fact that Aubie let him feed him and cuddled up to him asleep. He was amazed at his sweetness and felt wonderful energy from him.

“Eric, can we stay a bit? I want more dessert and I feel like hanging out now that the official stuff is over.”

“Whatever you want my Angel, relax and have fun!” He beamed at her, so proud of the whole family this day,

Octavia walked over with her blue and purple robe folded over her arm, stopping in front of Sookie. “Well, Queenie, that couldn’t have gone much better.”

Eric zipped around the table, pulling a chair over for Octavia so she could sit across from her and chat. As she got settled, Jerry and Amelia brought chairs around, too.

“Ooh, that’s a great idea! Everybody pull up a chair so it’s more like home! I’m going to the dessert table, and I’ll be right back!” Sookie bounced up out of her chair and took her plate. She felt at home here and at peace with the world. She radiated love and kindness felt by everyone still there.

Sunny was awake and beginning to fuss, but Bobbie was right there with a bottle for Eric to feed her. Sookie came back with about 6 different items that were all yummy and gooey and wonderful.

“Eric, what are you feeding her? Is that formula?” Sookie suddenly realized she hadn’t even thought about feeding the baby all day.

“Sookie, I know you don’t remember it,” Bobbie explained, “but you expressed some milk for a few days so she has been fed several times.”

“Thank you for doing that! I’m so glad you’re here!”

Maddy came out of the pantry with two handled baskets lined with soft linens and set one in front of Sir Robert, who had Aubie sleeping on his shoulder. Alex was yawning, too, so she gave a basket to Bjorn and he tucked him in nice and snug. He was out like a light, full and happy.

“Maddy, thank you for this!” Sookie was so relieved to have help.

“No trouble at all, My Lady, this has been a long day for the wee ones. I’ve never seen sweeter babies in my life! They were extremely well behaved all day, and so smart! Little Alex notices everything.” Maddy said with great pride, smoothing Alex’s hair, then bowing and returning to the kitchen.

“So, Octavia,” Sookie asked, “are you going to be a white lady or whatever?”

Everybody laughed at that, Octavia most of all. “They have extended the invitation, and I am thinking on it. Do you understand who they are, Sookie?” Octavia knew she had to approach this slowly.

“Yeah, they’re in charge here! They’re spirits of Witches who have become immortal…” then it hit her: “Octavia, are you going to die?”

She took Sookie’s hand and squeezed it. “Apparently, my time is near. If I choose to complete a few special rituals, they can extend my life indefinitely.”

“But I can’t lose you!” Sookie cried, “I want you with us! The babies need you!”

“Take a breath, girl. I’m not going to abandon you completely. If need be, I could get to you just like Doctor Ludwig does. I could keep my room at your house and visit and travel with you sometimes. More importantly, Sookie, I’d be able to tell you what is going on here politically.”

Eric spoke up then. “Sookie, that would be a powerful advantage.”

“When do you have to tell them?” Sookie asked.

“By the next full moon. There is one process that can take up to 3 years, so I’d be with you most of that time.”

Sir Robert was listening silently. He was praying Octavia would say yes. A relationship to any Witte Wieven would be priceless to this Queen. As beloved as she was, she could still have opposition with the jewel smuggling Fae. Octavia could watch for trouble and give Sookie early warning.

“What would happen if you say “no?”” Amelia asked, almost as sad as Sookie about the idea.

“If I do nothing, at some point in the near future, I just won’t wake up. I pass naturally and return to the Summer Land like any other mortal.”

“Aren’t there already 13 of them, though?” Sookie asked.

“One of them is choosing to pass on, so her spot will be open.”

“Do you know what you’ll do yet?” Now Sookie wanted her to say “yes.”

“I’m thinking on it.”

A server came by for Sookie’s plate and they were starting to clean all around them.

“OK, so how do we all get home and which home do we go to?”

“Don’t forget your aquamarine, your Majesty,” Sir Robert reminded her, “you can move armies between the worlds with it.”

“Seriously? I though the Wise Women were kidding about that.”

“Spend time with that stone, my Lady, it can teach you many things.”

Sookie took the crown off and gave it to Sir Robert, and she slipped off the glass slippers, sitting them on a bench.

“OK, family, everybody going to Prytania Street join hands.”

Everyone made sure each was touching another, and Sookie said “Trygg i min säng”

At once they were all in the living room in New Orleans, ready to face the waking world.

“Sookie, was that a strain for you?” Bjorn asked.

“I don’t think so.”

“So all that took was the stone and saying that little spell?” Amelia and Octavia were mighty impressed.

“You’re all home!” Alicia came down from their rooms to see if anyone needed anything,

“Hi, Alicia! It’s nice to be home! I’d better get out of this dress. Sir Robert might pop in at any minute to take it back,” Sookie laughed as she picked up the train and bounced up the stairs to her room.

Eric, with Sunny, Bjorn with Alex in a basket and Jerry with Aubie all filed into the nursery on the second floor. Bobbie was right behind to help with diapers and clothing changes.

Amelia, Jerry and Octavia decided to head to Amelia’s house, and Alicia brought out some cold cuts for sandwiches in case anyone was hungry.

Sookie grabbed a little yellow sun dress from her closet and slipped it on, then decided the beautiful gown would be best folded. She handled it carefully and wanted to preserve it in case she was ever anywhere that she could wear it again.
